Hopefully the co-op and a future expansion can at least help somewhat.
#KILLZONE SHADOW FALL FPS 1080P#
Thank god I didn't waste my money on the season pass just yet. This isnt intended to be another 'PlayStation 4 is more powerful than Xbox One' commentary, but simply a quick look at exactly what 1080p and 60 frames per second will look like in the next generation. I still look foward to seeing more info on that, but as far as this game is concerned, I barely even care about potential DLC anymore. I'm gonna take Shadow Fall as a sign that Guerilla Games has just been really hard at work on their new IP. Don't even get me started on the single player element. Horizon Zero Dawn And Killzone: Shadow Fall Will Allow For PS4 To PS5 Save Transfers Shadow Fall will also get a boost to 60 FPS. The only genuinely good thing about the game is that the graphics are still amazing and the attention to detail in the environents is astounding, but that's it. I've always held Killzone to such a high standard and this addition to the series just blows my mind. Not to mention the boasted locked in 60 FPS in the MP has become pretty nonexistent as the game's framerate is god awful now for some reason. The weapons are terrible, the spawn camping is unbelievable, the maps are way too tightly knit, the realistic weighty feel of the weapons is gone, and everything just feels so damn compressed. Why is this one just so bad? It's like they dumped everything that made the last two amazing and focused on creating a literal CoD clone. I spent countless hours playing 3, which is still one of my multiplayer titles to date. I've been a huge fan of the series ever since 2. It almost competes with CoD in terms of sheer garbage quality.
It breaks my heart to admit, but Killzone: Shadow Fall is easily one of the worst FPS's I have ever played. I then quickly remembered why I ever put the game down and bought BF4 in the first place. After recently playing and platinuming Battlefield 4 on PS4, I decided to take a break and go back to playing Killzone: Shadow Fall.
